The Victoria State Rose garden is situated in K.Road, Werrribee South, Victoria, Australia. With over 5000 roses (covering about 6 acres), the Victoria State Rose Garden is one of the tourist gems of Victoria.
The Vic State Rose Garden is run by Parks Victoria and the Victoria State Rose Garden Supporters Inc. who volunteer to help Parks prune & look after the gardens. Volunteers & supporters are always welcomed. Normally it is open to the public 365 days a year, but rarely, Parks Victoria host a paying event where the public is excluded from the Garden (Once in the last five years).
If coming by public transport, catch a Werribee train from Melbourne and then the 439 bus which will take you right to the entrance.
The best month is November when the spring flowerers are out as well as the main Tudor Rose, but there are plenty of blooms from mid-October to the end of June.
